The walk was from UNO-R around Libertad and back to UNO-R. The message has been clear and sent around that we have to really speak out our opposition to anti-life legislations no only in our country but all over the world.
After the walk, a program was held at the university Gymnasium. Opening ceremonies was led by Fr. Gealon, the REEd faculty, and students with the Campus Ministry staff. At 9:15 am, an exposition of the Blessed Sacrament had brought everyone to the mood of prayer as a manifestation of the Recoletos character of being “contemplative”.
Live Pure talks and forum followed the Benediction at 9:45 am. Group snacks and Group sharing commenced at 10:45 am and ended with the praying of the Angelus at 12 noon. The group sharing is a manifestation of the Recoletos character of being “communitarian”.
Another talk about love was given in the afternoon and was followed by a forum until 3:45 pm. A Eucharistic celebration commenced at 4 pm with Rev. Fr. Rocelo Villarosa as Presider and homilist and was joined by House Prior, Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, OAR; UNO-R President, Rev. Fr. Eduardo Celiz, Jr., OAR; UNO-R chaplain, Fr. Perzius Joseph Decena, OAR. and Fr. Gealon.
A candle lighting ceremony capped the one-day activity. This is a symbol of spreading the good news and the light to everyone, which is a manifestation of the apostolic character of the Recoletos.
